If you are anything like us, the new Hulu show “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is your current obsession. Of course, our main focus has been the hairstyles. We saw it all: The good, the bad and the 20 different hair styles of Whitney. So we decided to share how we would style each of the moms' hair (all in good fun, of course!)😉
Taylor
Taylor is a gorgeous girl, with striking eyes! We would give her a darker golden brown color, with big, fluffy curls that would really bring her eyes out and complement her skin tone. We also would give her a slight trim, to better frame her face. It is a simple change, with a big impact. This look could be easily achieved using our newest curling iron, the TYME x2 (coming soon).
Demi
For the beautiful Demi we think a nice trim would better complement her rounded face. We would darken her hair to a deep brown, with golden baby highlights around her face. We think it matches her skin tone so well and really brings out those high cheekbones!!
Jennifer
Okay, hear us out! Our sweet Jenn has the perfect features to rock curls and when we say curls, we mean big, voluminous, perm like curls! (Obviously, perms are quite the commitment, but a TYME Iron Pro could give the same look without all the hassle.) We also would reduce the amount of highlights and give her a darker honey brown with a slight shadow root. If anyone can pull off this look it’s our girl Jenn.
Jessi
This is probably an unpopular opinion, but we think Jessi could go darker, shorter and straighter. In all honesty, she could probably pull off anything, but we love her with this darker, cool brown. It brings out her light eyes and gives her some beautiful facial contrast. We also love how the straight hair and curtain bangs frame her face.
Layla
As you can see, we didn’t have much we would’ve changed when it came to Layla’s hair. We think her hair is gorgeous as is, but if it were us behind the chair, we’d give her a slight cut with long layers. We’d style those curls to be a little more soft and angelic with the top half of her hair pinned back. We think these simple changes really elevated the look.
Mayci
Boss babe Mayci!💋 We would recommend something fun and flirty. If any of the girls can do colored hair, it’s her. We would give her a cool pink color with a shadow root and lowlights to match. We would also trim those ends but leave her long layers intact. Look how those blue eyes POP!
Mikayla
Don’t hate us, but we would darken Mikayla’s hair and chop off those long locks. We think the shorter hair with long layers complements her face so well. This dark brown with golden babylights brings some contrast to her face without overwhelming her look.
Whitney
Whitney, we’re begging you to go for a full french bob! ✄ Chop that hair! This cut complements her rounded features so well and shows off her gorgeous face, not to mention the amount of time she would save on fixing her hair (especially if she is using the TYME Air)! We love the blonde hair color, but since we know how much Whitney loves to switch it up, we would give her a deep, auburn hair color. We think this could really bring out her light blue eyes and complement her skin tone, while looking natural.
