Both work at any length. The Iron Pro, which is the original TYME iron, and the Iron Air both curl and straighten, and both are at their best on medium to coarse hair up to bra strap length. The Iron Pro and the Iron Air are at their best on hair up to bra strap length and get harder to use the longer the hair is, so for hair longer than bra strap we recommend the 1.25 inch or the 2 inch instead. That holds even if straightening is what you are after.

Start on the lowest, every time. If your hair is not holding the style, turn it up one setting and stop as soon as it does. Every texture and every density needs something different, which is exactly why there is a range rather than a single temperature.

Yes. TYME irons are dual voltage, so they run on both 110 to 120v and 220 to 240v. You will need a plug adapter for the socket shape in the country you are in, but not a voltage converter.
